After the refusal of Guido Westerwelle, our minister of foreign affairs, to speak English, he has well thought about it. His English hasn't been brilliant though.
Even worse was the speech of Guenther Oettinger. He was even emphatic about the fact how important it is to speak English. "English will be the working language". Have a look at this video with subtitles on youtube:
